First post

Hi lovely readers and addicted fans!

I created this blog to express my love and addiction to F1, especially to my favourite drivers on the grid 😊

And of course I need to do something that diverts my attention for a bit, and not thinking about my miserably empty life without F1 during the winter break. 😞

In this blog will be posted some news about F1 and drivers, and my opinion about the previous races in 2018.

Few infos about me and my obsession:
First of all, I'm not English, so there will be mistakes in the sentences, please be nice  👍

How long do I like this sport?
My addiction actually started when I was a little kid, maybe 5 or 6 years old. My family member have been living far away from each other, so on Sundays everyone came together to spend some time in each other's company. My father and grandfather loved watching F1 after lunch. After some time spending Sundays like this, I noticed that I was getting excited and looking forward to watching racing with my family. And my love for this sport has just grown with me.

Who is/are my favourite driver(s)?
My biggest favourite is and always will be Michael Schumacher. He is a legend and the most successful driver in the history of Formula 1.
Apart from him, I really like Sebastian Vettel, maybe because of my bond to Schumacher. Always great to see a German in a Ferrari. But he caught my attention first, when he had won the race in Monza 2008 with Toro Rosso.
And of course, Daniel Ricciardo has a very special place in my heart, he is an actual sweetheart and currently the funniest guy on the grid. I gonna miss him from the Red Bull team, but I hope he'll be able to fight for some podiums with Renault as well.
And last, but not least Max Verstappen, a very talented, young dutchman. He always impress me with his driving skills, but he's still young and needs to learn some patience. I'm sure he'll be a world champion soon, hope Honda will  be as competitive as Renault was this year.

Which driver(s) do I dislike the most?
No offense for his fans, but Lewis Hamilton. It isn't because of his rivalry with Seb, his personality just makes me sick and forced me to commit suicide. I'm not questioning his talent, because he's now a five-time world champion, but can't accept the fact that he won some races due to his luck and because the FIA didn't give him a penalty for almost causing a collision, etc.
The another one is Lance Stroll. I didn't know him before F1, but his performance in F1 didn't convinced me at all. And in my opinion Esteban deserved the seat better at Force India, than him.

Which team is my favourite?
Can you guess? Ferrari and Red Bull. My favourite thing about RB is the off track activities with drivers, which brings the team and drivers together. Okay, not big fan of Helmut Marco, but he definitely do a great job and gives some space for the drivers to do fun things.
Ferrari made a lot of wrong decisions this year, but they are and always will be a historic team with big past and future.

Which driver(s) performance surprised me the most during the season?
In a good way, the Monegasque rookie, Charles Leclerc. I didn't expect this strong performance from him, definitely impressed me, that he finished in the points 10 races of 21 with Sauber, which didn't competitive this much last year, also Marcus and Pascal struggled with it to get points.
In a bad way, Sebastian Vettel, he did an amazing job in the start of the season, but made a lot of mistakes, that caused him to lose the championship. I hope he'll come back stronger, and next year will be different.

Which track is my favourite?
My all time favourite isn't part of the calendar any more, which is Sepang. But as a Hungarian, I like the Hungaroring for sure, and want to visit a race weekend in the future, which is always held around my birthday, so it'll be the best birthday present if I would can meet with my favourite drivers.

Which was the best overtake(s) of the year?
First one, Charles' move on Magnussen in Sochi around the outside in Turn 3.
Second, maybe Daniel's move on Bottas in Shanghai, in Lap 45. In the previous years Daniel had shown a lot of compelling (Max's favourite word, beside splendid and stupendous 🤣🤣) overtakes, but in this year Max had more of it.

What was the best team radio?
Vettel's in Brazil: "There's something loose between my legs, apart from the obvious. So something flying around my feet.. Around my feet, I mean... I'd be proud if it was what you think it is, but it's not!" 🤣
Leclerc's in Japan: "Magnussen is and always will be stupid. It's a fact. A shame."🤣

It is all for today 😉😃

See you guys later 🙂
